Good but...

My one gripe with these animations is that you are not crediting all the voice-actors. I am in some of Omahdon's VG cats adaptations and would hate to think that my name was being left out.

Just a suggestion. Credit where credit is due.

MikeandTreyVideo responds:

Ah I see. I'd love to credit everyone with whatever they've done. I keep forgetting to write to omahdon to see if he remembers who did what. There are only three people I've heard of doing these voices (there are a lot more, that I know) and that's Omahdon, Autumn, and D-MacDouble.

Hey!

I was the one who voiced the guy in the last recolor piece... I wasn't credited. Humph!

But at least the animation was good. Laughed at a good few parts which is rare for me. Well done.

Don't ever stop SHS!

Have no fear we've got stories for years!

I'm really enjoying this series as a production member, a cast member and an audience member.

Best one yet! Keep 'em coming Xen... ya know ya wanna!

awesome

Loved it... it's a pity the deadline got in the way. I was really looking forward to the Jesus scene...

Any hopes of a sequel?

Chakra-X responds:

Kind of. I really liked the original script, which still both had Jesus and Santa kicking ass. Perhaps I'll do that next year...but start it in the summer :X. Thanks for your all your help!

Why is this 8.3mb

I don't see why the filesize on this is so huge... also, the ideas were not surprising. The charm about the lazer collection is that most of the time you didn't know what was going to happen...

But while watching this I always knew what was coming... an idea to improve on the first one... The guy is sleeping and the alarm goes off with "Imma firin mah lazor! Imma firin mah lazor! Imma firin mah lazor!" so the guy who was sleeping goes to hit the snooze button.. and then the alarm clock fires his lazer at him...

Of course that idea's not going to tickle many ribs anytime soon... but it's a more developed idea, and is more likely to make people laugh than the predictable things you got going here...

Buujack responds:

thx for the idea, i dont even know why my flash has 8.3mb?

Biased but...

I love it... I'm always glad to be a part of your projects Xen!

Although in this episode I don't have much to say, I still love bein the Hulk haha... Oh and in answer to "Scbunchy" No I am not Colin Farrell. We're both Irish and we both put on that accent, and that's where the similarities end.

But awesome stuff Xen as always, and a note to everyone keep glued to this series, it's about to get epic! We have a top notch cast involved and I'm honoured to say that I have worked with them all. I personally would love to see this series get it's own collection.

Tom, you listening? Give SHS its own collection dang it!

It was ok...

The only thing that I would say is that the lazors were a bit predictable... you knew exactly where they were gonna come from and who was going to do it... part of the charm of the lazor collections is that you don't know.

That being said, there was a couple that made me smile

Nice, but...

Everything was really nice, animation and all... except for one thing. The "Irish" accent... That is not an Irish accent, an accent like that doesn't exist... it is an american bastardisation that only exists because of the New York "Irish Cop" Stereotype...

I doubt you're gonna change your VA... but it's just unfortunate that the character is based upon a stereotype.

um...

when was goldeneye on the playstation?

Also a lot of those games are no longer playstation titles... either way the song was cleverly mixed, but francine, that was a little lack lustre than what I'm used to from you...

FaltaViva responds:

We were counting Rogue Agent, not the better Goldeneye game :-p

And the song was praising games on the Playstation consoles past and present, so that's why it may seem like that.

Good, But I have some issues.

-Animation-
The animation is much improved from last time, no doubt about that, some nice features that made me go "hmm, I like that" but keep at it and I've no doubt that this will develop into a masterpiece.

-Sound-
This was a problem, much like in the first part, that the music would drown out the voices. All it takes is to key mark the music and do a fade to an appropriate level. The music itself wasn't an original choice but of course it's a sonic movie and most of the music was from the sonic games but I got a bit of "Nazo Unleashed" vibe off it. Now the voices, I myself am a Voice Actor and know what I'm looking for when I hear a voice, I recognize Rina-Chan's voice as Amy and must say her Amy voice has really improved. But the mic quality of her clips dwarf the others, also I got the impression that all the other voices weren't even in the same conversation, they didn't sound like they were listening to each other and therefore it just sounds like people were reading lines and therefore made it uninteresting to listen to. I recommend you either get a voice director or some better VA's. It's always unfortunate to have sub-par VA work bring down a flashes quality.

-Overall-
Great potential to be a classic sprite movie. Nice storyline. Well animated. Just those issues with sounds to be sorted and it'll be great.
